Accounting Specialist

About the role

Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain accurate records
Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities
Monitor expenses, support budgeting, and ensure timely financial updates
Partner with internal teams to maintain accuracy in financial data and documentation

Responsibilities

• Aid with month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger activities
• Monitor expenses, support budgeting, and ensure timely financial updates
• Partner with internal teams to maintain accuracy in financial data and documentation

Requirements

• Experience in accounting or finance (construction or related industry a plus)
• Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
