Accounting Specialist

About the role

Our client's organization provides goods to wholesalers and is seeking an interim Accounting Specialist. Work with a team self-described as warm and a place where "we laugh everyday!" No need to use personal equipment - company laptop will be provided! Your superb written and verbal communication skills will be key in this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Aging communication with vendors
• Assist with verifying AR invoice dates and categorizing
• Perform AR reconciliations between internal records and 3PL statements
• Perform AP reconciliations and work with vendors to correct, as needed
• Process cash applications and prep vendor payments

Qualifications

• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable managing workload remotely
• Must have AP & AR experience
• Great communication and customer service skills are needed for vendor communications
• Ability to perform If/Then lookups and create Pivot tables in Excel (plus, but not a must)
