Accounting Specialist

About the role

A growing company in Manchester is seeking an Accounting Specialist who enjoys variety and wants exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including cash applications and collections support
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close tasks
• Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment inquiries

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accounting, AP, AR, or bookkeeping role
• Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or month-end close activities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
