Accounting Specialist/AP

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission-focused solutions and digital transformation company, is seeking an Accounting Specialist/AP at our Alexandria, Virginia office.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all accounts payable processes
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices
• Prepare accounts payable vouchers including approvals and account codings
• Review and process expense reports
• Perform weekly check runs
• Process monthly subcontractor timesheets
• Work on process improvements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or other GovCon ERP systems
• Extremely detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships

Qualifications

• Preferred: BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance from an accredited college/university
• Other education along with commensurate experience may be substituted

Pay

$55,000–$65,000 per year
