Accounting Manager - MS365

About The Job Accounting Manager will partner with Department Managers of Technical Accounting and Tax to assist in monthly financial close processes, financial reporting, tax compliance, annual financial audits, account reconciliations, researching technical accounting issues, enhancing accounting practices, ensuring internal control compliance, regulatory reporting, insurance administration, and to partner cross-functionally to deliver value and support. Roles And Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue RecognitionCoordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesPreparation of information needed to file/renew business permits, licenses, regulatory reporting, and taxes.Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should takeMaintaining the financial health of the organization.Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance to the business plans.Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.Participating in tax audits and payrollPreparing Budget reports and forecastManage month-end and year-end closingMonitor the daily performance of the accounting departmentEstablish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with the Company's targetsEnsure compliance with the lawEnsuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policyUpdating and maintaining records of expendituresSending out payments for company credit cardsResponding to vendor invoicesEnsuring that all payments are sent on timeResolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the companyManage all accounting transactionsPublish financial statements in timeReconcile accounts payable and receivable Requirements Proven experience as an accountantMust know MS365Excellent organizing abilitiesGreat attention to detailGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumenGood understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesExcellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer softwareDegree in accounting; preferably CPA designationManufacturing 5+ yearsPrevious experience in a supervisory role Core Competencies Understanding of cGMPUnderstanding of work-based instructionsTechnical and Behavioral Skills/AnalyticalGood manual skillsComputer SkillsAttention to detailTeam PlayerNumerical skillsInteract with persons of various social and cultural backgrounds.Communications Skills Experience Microsoft 365: 2 years (Required)Financial auditing: 5 years (Preferred)Financial software: 1 year (Required)
