Accounting Manager

About the role

The accounting manager oversees day-to-day financial operations, analyzes financial data, ensures accurate account balances, and supports internal and external teams. This role can be hybrid, allowing for remote work two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee accounts receivable with internal and external teams and customers.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and approval of both internal and external team's entries.
• Handle balance sheet reconciliations and approvals in Blackline.
• Conduct quarterly analysis and reports.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Participate in annual physical inventory.
• Assist in supervising staff accountants.
• Engage in special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Prior 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Team player with minimal supervision.
• Strategic and creative thinker to address issues and implement solutions.
• Positive response to feedback and ability to adapt processes and procedures.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Detailed oriented.
• Effective communicator (written and oral).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $98,200, with the actual salary influenced by various factors.

Schedule

This role can be hybrid, with the employee working remotely two days a week and onsite three days a week.
