Accounting Manager

About the role

This role offers the opportunity to lead key accounting and financial reporting functions while partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives, process improvements, and business growth. You'll play a critical role in developing the accounting team, strengthening financial controls, and delivering meaningful insights that support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Determine compensation for this role (and others) based on various factors.
• Lead the month-end close process, including financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Manage and develop the accounting team through coaching, workload planning, and performance oversight.
• Cook up external audits and ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and internal controls.
• Drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and reporting enhancements across accounting operations.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights, KPI reporting, and support SEC reporting requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Top 10 Accounting Firm and Large Public Company Experience
• CPA or progress toward CPA
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance

Pay

$120,000-$130,000 base salary (depending on experience)
