Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong accounting operations.
• Manage complex accounting matters, review key financial activities, and provide guidance on technical accounting issues and business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain effective internal controls, and support the integrity of financial reporting.
• Review account reconciliations, financial analyses, and reporting documentation while driving consistency and accuracy across the accounting function.
• Develop, mentor, and support accounting team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Partner on process improvements, systems enhancements, automation efforts, and special projects that increase efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field (Required).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated success leading or mentoring team members.
• Strong foundation in financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
• Experience working in a dynamic, multi-location, or complex business environment.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• CPA (Preferred).

Pay

$135,000-$150,000 base salary, depending on experience.

Scottsdale, AZ (4 days on-site, 1 day remote).
