Accounting Manager

About The Role

The Accounting Manager owns the day-to-day general ledger operations, monthly close cycle, and financial reporting workflows. This role ensures all financial transactions are processed in compliance with US GAAP, maintaining rigorous internal controls under the SOX framework. The role acts as a critical bridge between day-to-day transaction processing and strategic financial reporting, driving continuous improvement in accounting systems and helping scale the financial infrastructure to support rapid corporate growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation and reporting of financial results
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses for key accounts
• Maintain, document, and enforce internal controls in accordance with SOX compliance requirements, identifying and remediating gaps as needed
• Support the preparation of SEC-aligned financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules for external audit purposes
• Optimize automated accounting workflows within NetSuite, improving system efficiency and data integrity
• Cook with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and quarterly reviews, preparing audit schedules and responding to technical inquiries
