Accounting Manager

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete month-end financial statements.
• Calculate and report the lower of cost or market value of panel inventory.
• Perform various accounting functions to support the business unit.
• Conduct variance and financial analyses.
• Collaborate with operations and sales to develop yearly and quarterly budgets.
• Enter contracts into the fiber procurement program.
• Process contract adjustments including rate changes and ticket errors.
• Handle fiber payable and receivable transactions.
• Produce monthly reports.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles with strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and cash management skills.
• Proficient in accounting software programs.
• Able to self-direct and prioritize workflow.
• Able to exercise good judgment and manage the function, consistent with corporate and fiduciary principles and guidelines.
• A high degree of personal integrity and ethical and professional standards.
• A high degree of initiative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
• Relevant industry-related experience preferred.
