Accounting Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead daily accounting operations and provide direction, coaching, and support to senior and staff accountants.
- Manage month-end and period-end close activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards.
- Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation review.
- Prepare and review financial statements and other recurring reports for management use.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and implement practical process improvements.
- Promote knowledge sharing across the team by communicating financial concepts clearly and encouraging collaboration.
- Support work within SAP S/4HANA when applicable; candidates with Oracle or NetSuite experience may also contribute effectively.
- Partner with team members on-site three days per week to maintain alignment, visibility, and operational continuity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
- Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
- Experience preparing financial statements and delivering accurate financial reporting.
- Proficiency with journal entries, account analysis, and period-end accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred; Oracle or NetSuite experience is also acceptable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with a collaborative, approachable, and supportive management style.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to communicate accounting information clearly to team members.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
