Accounting Manager

Job Details

• Aid in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process in accordance with GAAP.
• Create and maintain internal financial reports and support external financial audits.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheets for reasonableness and ensure proper financial controls are in place.
• Review customer contracts and determine appropriate credit terms.
• Collaborate with operations and plant leadership at all facilities to provide financial insights on production performance and margin analysis.
• Manage capital asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
• Participate in process improvements within the department.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, and EPICOR.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements and conducting year-end close processes.
• Excellent knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
