About the role

Our growing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and finance function while partnering closely with executive leadership to improve profitability, strengthen financial processes, and provide meaningful business insights. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, KPI development, internal controls, pricing analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations and supervise the accounting team
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Develop financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for executive leadership
• Analyze profitability, margins, pricing, and operating performance
• Monitor company cash flow and working capital
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and employee benefits administration
• Partner with operations, quality, warehouse, and leadership teams to improve financial performance
• Support inventory reporting and financial system accuracy
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and financial processes
• Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Provide financial recommendations that improve business performance and long-term profitability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience managing accounting staff
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP system experience
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership

• Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or supply chain environment
• Inventory accounting
• Pricing and profitability analysis
• KPI development
• Continuous process improvement initiatives

Pay

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
