Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager oversees the daily accounting operations of the organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adherence to applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations affecting financial records and maintenance documentation.

This position manages the accounting team, supports financial planning and analysis, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides financial guidance to executive leadership in support of aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable FAA regulations affecting financial records and maintenance documentation.
• Manage the accounting team and support financial planning and analysis.
• Provide financial guidance to executive leadership for MRO and manufacturing operations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance related to financial reporting and aviation maintenance.
