Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, as well as, month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support with group reporting and treasury management, including cash flow forecasting as needed.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and FIA Financial Regulation requirements.
• Support with external audits, including audit file and evidence preparation, and managing responses to audit queries.
• Create and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements as required.
• Mentor, train, and supervise accounting staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience in public accounting or industry accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting.
• Knowledge of US and international tax compliance.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
