Accounting Manager

About The Role The role leads the accounting function, owning financial reporting, US GAAP compliance, and internal controls that ensure fiscal integrity and audit readiness. The Accounting Manager will direct month-end close processes, optimize ERP workflows, and partner with leadership to scale financial operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis under US GAAPDesign, implement, and maintain robust SOX internal controls and financial policies across all operational workflowsOversee technical accounting research and documentation for complex revenue recognition, leases, and equity transactionsCoordinate annual financial statement audits and manage relationships with external audit firms and tax consultantsOptimize ERP systems (NetSuite) and financial tooling to automate manual workflows and reduce close cycle timesMentor and develop junior accounting staff, establishing clear performance metrics and review cycles What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, combining Big 4 public accounting and high-growth corporate finance rolesActive CPA license required with deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting frameworksAdvanced proficiency in NetSuite ERP, advanced Excel, and automated close management softwareDemonstrated experience managing month-end close schedules and leading cross-functional audit processesBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldBonus: Experience in scaling accounting infrastructure for pre-IPO or publicly traded technology companies
