Accounting Manager

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding, ESOP-backed construction organization. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing bank reporting, overseeing fixed assets, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage bank reporting requirements and loan covenant compliance
• Oversee fixed assets, equipment financing, and depreciation schedules
• Cook up financial statement audits, tax audits, and regulatory reviews
• Maintain work-in-process schedules and percentage-of-completion accounting
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with construction accounting (WIP & percentage-of-completion preferred)
• Background in audits, tax filings, and bank covenant compliance
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

Pay

$130,000-160,000
