Accounting Manager

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location, with an expected starting pay rate of $60.00 to $90.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, payroll processing, and financial record accuracy.
• Manage month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports for leadership review.
• Administer payroll for a multi-state workforce and ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
• Monitor cash activity, banking transactions, and operational accounting processes to support business continuity.
• Partner with leadership to maintain financial controls, address accounting issues, and support ongoing business operations.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing accounting operations within a manufacturing, production, or operational business environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, payroll administration, and month-end close procedures.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and provide stability during a transitional period within the finance department.
