  • Ensure full compliance with ENGIE Group accounting policies, internal control frameworks (ICFR), SOX requirements, and local statutory regulations.
  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation, testing support, and remediation of control gaps.
  • Oversee balance sheet governance, including reconciliations, aging reviews, and certification processes.
  • Act as a key finance contact for internal audits, external audits, and regulatory reviews, ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
  • Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance across GBS Accounting teams.
  • Lead or sponsor finance transformation initiatives, including automation, system implementations (e.g., SAP, BlackLine, XRoads), and reporting optimization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Current CPA accreditation.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
