Responsibilities
- Review financial and account documentation carefully to ensure records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
- Update account information, classifications, and statuses while verifying that entries align with internal standards and required guidelines.
- Maintain both digital and paper filing systems so documents can be retrieved efficiently and stored securely.
- Prepare and submit required forms and supporting materials through designated electronic platforms in a timely manner.
- Enter account and case-related information into tracking systems with a high degree of precision and consistency.
- Monitor records for discrepancies or missing details and coordinate with internal teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Handle sensitive financial and case-related information in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Support ongoing documentation and record management needs related to bankruptcy and accounts receivable activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting, administration, legal support, collections, or a similar office-based role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple records and tasks accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for document preparation, tracking, and reporting.
- Solid data entry, file management, and recordkeeping abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to review account information, identify inconsistencies, and take appropriate follow-up action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Background working with financial documents, bankruptcy matters, or court-related records is helpful but not required.
