Accounting Clerk

Essential Functions

  • Enter and verify employee time records, ensuring accurate job and equipment coding.
  • Review payroll-related data for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
  • Research and resolve timesheet, payroll, job costing, and coding discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll and accounting records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Aid with clerical and administrative tasks, such as responding to emails, filing documents, and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support Accounting team members on various projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One (1) or more years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or related experience is preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications

  • Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks.
  • Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
