Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare payments in a timely manner.
- Record incoming customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable balances.
- Enter financial data into accounting systems with a high level of precision and consistency.
- Absorb and maintain organized records for invoices, payments, and account activity.
- Use QuickBooks and related tools to update transactions and support routine accounting tasks.
- Reconcile account details and investigate discrepancies to help ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare spreadsheet tracking and other basic reports to support the accounting team.
- Support invoice processing activities and help keep financial workflows running efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in an accounting clerk or similar finance support role.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Strong data entry skills with close attention to accuracy and detail.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial record maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, organizing, and reviewing information.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet routine deadlines.
