About the role
The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is dedicated to creating and delivering fun and escapism for guests. As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Process all direct bills after checkout
- Collection process of all direct bill accounts
- Build individual direct bills in the PMS system
- Track the transient check out with balances report and collect the amounts due
- Processes the outgoing mail on a daily basis
- Answers phones on a daily basis assisting guests with questions about charges they incurred during their stay
- Processes advance deposit refunds
- Post payments received on a daily basis
Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year of hotel front desk experience is helpful.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments.
- Scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjust to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts oneself, acts and dresses professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates.
- Understands and communicates the Margaritaville Lake Resort Mission.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Actively listens to others.
- Conveys company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
- Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
- Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
