JJP Mechanical Reps is a Nashville-based HVAC manufacturer’s representative firm that partners with engineers, contractors, and facility teams to deliver high-performance HVAC equipment and air distribution solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain friendly, cooperative relations with customers, vendors, company personnel and management.
- Perform other tasks or assignments as delegated by the Controller.
- Demonstrate the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations.
- Perform a range of bookkeeping and accounting activities including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales, Job Costing, Payroll and Fixed Assets.
- Review and Assign Job Costs to Projects from Costs Unassigned Report Daily.
- Payroll Processing bi-monthly.
- Process Commissions and maintain record of past commissions monthly.
- Reviewing Sales Taxes monthly.
- Reconcile Bank Accounts monthly.
- Reconcile Credit Card Accounts.
- Collect employee expense reports & receipts monthly.
- Anticipate problems and provide contingency plans and recommendations.
- Organize personal schedule to maximize productivity and time management.
- Follow all Company personnel policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- One or more years of experience in accounting.
- Computer skills, including capabilities in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, Quickbooks experience preferred.
