Accounting Assistant

About the role

The Accounting Assistant position is available at Premier Capital Hellas SA, the operator of 33 McDonald’s restaurants in Greece. Reporting to the Accounting & Tax Manager, the role involves liaising between the Finance Department and the Distribution Center to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, control, and reporting of all warehouse-related financial and inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the Finance Department and the Distribution Center to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, control, and reporting of all warehouse-related financial and inventory transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
• Showcase strong collaboration with the Distribution Center team, Procurement, Operations, Store Managers, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate data flow between operational systems and accounting records.
• Understand both accounting principles and warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory data, stock movements, and warehouse-related cost accounting.

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Finance or a related field.
• Has 0-2 years of experience in accounting, inventory accounting, warehouse finance, preferably in the Retail, FMCG, Food service, Logistics, or Distribution industries.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for learning are essential.
• Fluency in both Greek and English is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office is necessary.
