Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts Payable invoice coding and entry into accounting system
Interacting with purchasing personnel to resolve PO and invoice discrepancies
Interacting with vendors to resolve accounts payable issues
Maintaining necessary information to set up accounts with new vendors
Maintaining subcontractor and vendor compliance such as W9s and certificates of insurance
Reconciling vendor statements routinely
Aiding management with other miscellaneous accounting matters as needed

Qualifications

Business/Accounting degree or 2+ years of experience preferred
Good knowledge of math and basic accounting principles
Organization and time management skills
Microsoft Office experience; Excel formulas, sorting and filtering functions
Oral and written communication skills
Willingness and ability to learn
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $19 - $21 per hour, depending on experience.
