This role is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

About the role

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, process financial transactions, analyze cost, and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in areas such as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, income, cash, accounts payable, accounts receivables, billing, fixed assets, and liabilities. Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, perform reconciliations, and review and verify accuracy. Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting and financial information systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions. Ensures adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, and government regulations and reporting. May interface with various government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information and process financial transactions
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
• Maintain and oversee accounts and records (disbursements, expenses, tax payments, accounts payable/receivable, billing, fixed assets, liabilities)
• Design, modify, install, or maintain accounting and financial information systems
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, auditing procedures, regulatory compliance, and government reporting
• Interface with government agencies as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
• Effective analytical skills demonstrated through related experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• Experience or knowledge of accounting entries and related impacts

Pay

Full-time salary ranges by geographic zone:

• GeoZone 1: $61,900.00 – $114,900.00 (includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale, CA; Palo Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, NJ)
• GeoZone 2: $55,700.00 – $103,400.00 (includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ)
• GeoZone 3: $49,500.00 – $91,900.00 (includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA)
• GeoZone 4: $44,500.00 – $82,700.00 (includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX)
