About the role
This position is located at the Northwest Georgia Public Health District Office in Rome, Georgia. It is an unclassified, full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Performs paraprofessional accounting and fiscal control functions under direct supervision.
- Handles accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepares payroll.
- Monitors budgets.
- Performs related general accounting processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of job-related accounting or fiscal experience; or one year of experience at the lower level Accounting Technician Trainee (FIT019) or equivalent position.
- Must be within a reasonable commuting distance; relocation assistance is not provided.
