About the Role
The Accounting Clerk I provides clerical and accounting support to the Finance Department. This position processes invoices, purchase orders, and payments, maintains financial records, assists with billing, and helps keep accounting systems organized and accurate.
What You'll Do
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and check requests.
- Prepare checks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Review invoices and resolve payment or vendor questions.
- Create and maintain vendor accounts and accounting files.
- Aid with billing, reporting, and other accounting tasks as needed.
- Answer phones, organize records, and provide administrative support to the Finance team.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all department policies and procedures.

What’s Required Of You
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work accurately, maintain confidentiality, and communicate professionally.
- Physical Requirements: Sitting for extended periods, occasional standing and walking, performing routine office tasks including filing and handling paperwork.
