Account Representative (Medical Billing Software)

Responsibilities

• Aid clients with setup, some implementation, and daily operations of the Quadax electronic claims processing software called Xpeditor.
• Be prepared and capable of training staff (both current and new) on product features as well as everyday use.
• Review and analyze multiple reports to identify billing trends for clients.
• Present clients with additional products and features from Quadax.
• Contact different insurance payers to research reasons why medical claims did not pay or pass edits.
• Aid clients in creating and testing custom data converts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Show strong detail-oriented and investigative skills, along with excellent software troubleshooting abilities.
• Be adept at multitasking and maintaining a professional demeanor while interacting with various clients.
• Have a broad understanding of medical billing practices or Electronic Data Interchange processes.
• Be able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients.
• Be versatile enough to learn and understand the essential functions of different departments and teams within Quadax.
• Show public speaking skills and be willing to work remotely up to 75% of the time.
• Be willing to travel approximately 25%-30% of the time to cover the designated areas.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
