This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Representative - Healthcare EDI Software based in the United States. This role serves as a key connection point between healthcare organizations and the technology supporting their electronic medical claims processes. You’ll work directly with hospitals and physician practices to support software setup, implementation, training, and day-to-day operations. The position combines customer relationship management with investigative troubleshooting, reporting, and healthcare billing expertise. You’ll analyze claims and billing trends, work with insurance payers to resolve issues, and identify opportunities to improve client outcomes. You’ll also introduce customers to relevant products and features while helping them get the most from their technology. Success requires curiosity, adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to work across multiple teams. This is a remote, client-facing opportunity with approximately 30% travel by car and air. Accountabilities Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare clients, building professional and personable relationships with hospitals, physician practices, and internal teams.Support clients with software setup, implementation activities, and ongoing daily operations of electronic claims processing solutions.Train current and new client staff on product functionality, workflows, and effective day-to-day system usage.Review multiple reports and investigate billing activity to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Research unpaid or rejected medical claims by working with insurance payers to determine the causes of payment or editing issues.Present clients with relevant products, features, and capabilities that can support their operational and business needs.Assist with the development, testing, and implementation of custom data conversions.Collaborate with internal departments and technical teams to investigate issues and deliver effective client solutions.Learn and understand the functions of multiple teams supporting the product in order to navigate complex client needs effectively.Maintain accurate handling of client information and uphold confidentiality requirements.Travel approximately 30% by automobile and air to support client and business needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree or equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.Experience or working knowledge of medical billing practices, healthcare claims processing, or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with multiple clients.Detail-oriented, investigative, and analytical approach to troubleshooting software and operational issues.Ability to review reports, identify patterns, investigate discrepancies, and determine appropriate next steps.Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a remote environment.Comfortable learning a broad range of business, technical, and operational functions across different teams.Sufficient public speaking and presentation skills to confidently train users and communicate with clients.Ability to explain technical or process-related information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Previous experience working remotely is preferred.Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, including travel by automobile and air.Ability to handle confidential client and healthcare-related information with discretion.Candidates located in or near Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, or South Dakota are highly preferred due to travel requirements.
