Account Merchandiser

About the role

The Account Merchandiser (AM) plays a crucial role in the retail team, focusing on stocking and merchandising beverage products under the Buffalo Rock portfolio. This position involves selling new products, managing displays, securing additional merchandising space, and promoting various initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive to and from customer sites to service assigned accounts according to Buffalo Rock Standards and Franchise Policies.
• Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with customers.
• Communicate all transshipping activity in line with Buffalo Rock policies and procedures.
• Report new accounts within the assigned sales area to the ADC and RSS.
• Notify ADC / RSS of any changes to existing accounts, including ownership or closure.
• Complete all required paperwork in accordance with Company Policy and timeline.
• Maintain compliance with Customer Display Area (CDA) standards.
• Communicate daily with ADC / RSS about product shortages, returns, refused orders, changes to next delivery orders, account information changes, or operational issues.
• Achieve and exceed Strategic Execution Objectives.
• Execute and achieve all account program key objectives.
• Rotate products in accordance with Buffalo Rock Policy and Procedures.
• Prepare pallets, trays, damaged product, and returns for pick-up at each account.
• Assist in reporting competitive activity, achieving sales goals, and promoting Buffalo Rock’s Purpose and Core Values.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Valid state driver license with a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation for business use with required insurance coverage.
• Smartphone device.
• Required to drive personal vehicle for work.
