Account Merchandiser
About the role
The Account Merchandiser (AM) plays a crucial role in the retail team, focusing on stocking and merchandising beverage products under the Buffalo Rock portfolio. This position requires a high level of ethical and moral conduct and involves visiting customer sites to sell new products, manage displays, and promote various initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Sell new products and manage incremental displays and additional merchandising space.
- Drive to and from customer sites as needed.
- Service assigned accounts according to Buffalo Rock Standards and Franchise Policies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Communicate transshipping activity in accordance with Buffalo Rock policy.
- Notify the ADC and RSS of new and changing accounts.
- Complete required paperwork within the stipulated timelines.
- Maintain compliance with Customer Display Agreement (CDA).
- Report product shortages, returns, and other operational issues to the ADC and RSS.
- Achieve and exceed Strategic Execution Objectives.
- Execute and achieve account program key objectives.
- Rotate products according to Buffalo Rock Policy.
- Prepare pallets, trays, and returns for pick-up.
- Assist in reporting competitive activity, sales goals, and promoting Buffalo Rock’s Purpose and Core Values.
- Attend all required meetings and adhere to customer policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Valid state driver license with a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation for business use with required insurance coverage.
- Smartphone device.
- Ability to lift up to 51-100 lbs. and carry objects.
- Physical demands: F (Frequently), C (Constantly), O (Occasionally).
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and locations.
- Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to make critical decisions and adhere to company procedures.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule for this position may require additional hours not scheduled, and flexibility is essential.
