About the role
As an Account Manager for Large Electrical Contractor Accounts, you will be responsible for the sales of ABB's Electrification products in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas, in line with the division strategy. This is a hybrid position; successful candidates will be located in the Atlanta, GA metro area. The role contributes to the Electrification Smart Power and Smart Buildings divisions in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Drive contractor relationships by building strong, multi-level partnerships with electrical contractors and influencing specifications to prefer ABB solutions.
- Execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and margin, introduce new products, and consistently meet or exceed volume and profitability targets.
- Lead opportunity management through proactive pipeline tracking, competitive intelligence gathering, take-offs, cost-effective proposals, and successful negotiation and closure of project orders.
- Deliver customer education via technical presentations, training, and industry engagement while maintaining accurate CRM data and analyzing hit-rate performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or GED with 5+ years of sales experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical industry and ABB products.
- Experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial, and residential projects to electrical contractors.
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
- Must already have work authorization that permits employment for ABB in the US.

Pay
This position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $160,800 annually and is bonus eligible. Base salary is determined by the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
