Account Manager I - Treasury Management

About the role
As an Account Manager I within PNC's Treasury Management Sales organization, you will be based in Phoenix, AZ. This is a client-facing role that supports Treasury Management Sales Officers with data analytics, pricing of new sales opportunities, and client presentations. You will provide sales and service support to select clients in the absence of the Treasury Management Officer and contribute to thought leadership by identifying client and industry trends to deepen customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support Treasury Management Sales Officers with data analytics and pricing for new sales opportunities.
- Assist Treasury Management Officers with client presentations and reviews.
- Provide sales and service support to select clients in the absence of the Treasury Management Officer.
- Develop thought leadership by identifying client and industry trends and opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and operational servicing units, providing consultative support.
- Participate in pricing and resource discussions to develop the scope of service for existing and potential clients.
- Act as the point of contact for client matters and help identify new servicing opportunities with existing clients.
- Utilize industry and PNC knowledge to inform customers of appropriate products, services, rates, and opportunities.
- Negotiate servicing agreements and fees for existing clients, including contract modifications with in-house counsel.
- Review servicing agreements to ensure contract terms meet servicing guidelines.
- Analyze, assess, and document client requirements; forecast and track key account metrics.
- Identify customization needs and work with service partners to implement solutions.
- Support contract processes and independently resolve challenges regarding implementation and production issues.
- Work toward finding the best solutions to maintain positive client relationships.

- Ability to assess and manage risks in alignment with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a university/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
