Manager I Treasury Operations

About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to lead all aspects of the assigned department, ensuring maximization of working capital and accuracy, timeliness, and effective control of all responsible financial transactions, with a focus on Treasury operations specific to supplier payments. This role oversees the overall execution of supplier payments through SAP, external financing partners, and banks, managing approximately $40 billion in payments annually. The position provides day-to-day oversight of payment analysts and collaborates with IT and external partners to ensure accurate and timely scheduling, transfer, and issue resolution. The Manager will communicate directly with financial institutions and internal groups (VMO/VMDM/Working Capital and internal finance teams) to maximize working capital benefits while adhering to supplier agreements. This role directs and leads the department to ensure proper application of internal controls and establishes, implements, and maintains procedures in accordance with service level agreements, company, industry, and accounting policy guidelines.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 in-person days at one of our core locations (Carlisle, PA or Salisbury, NC) and 2 remote days. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively.

- Execute deliverables related to Virtual Pay and Supply Chain finance.
- Partner with Accounts Payable (Product and NFR) to understand systematic payment failures and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with VMO/VMDM to ensure efficient vendor setup and update processes, fostering cooperation across teams.
- Oversee assigned processes for all ADUSA Brands and manage first-line people leaders.
- Resolve outstanding issues by working across all levels of company personnel, both internally and externally.
- Gain cooperation and commitment through personal persuasiveness and contribute to project/functional objectives.
- Promote an effective team environment through clear communication and feedback.
- Lead multiple assignments within a project/functional environment and act as a mentor to share expertise.
- Partner with the Business Enablement team to ensure accurate payment flow through SAP and quickly address file transmission issues to mitigate late payments.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs and uphold company values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting operations.
- Knowledge of the retail industry preferred.
- Experience with Macros and Databases is desirable.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience.
- Strong leadership and performance management capability.
- Experience with change management and transformation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience working in an ERP environment such as SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in IL/MA/MD/NY regions.
Pay
Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560. Actual compensation offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will align with company policies and applicable laws.
Schedule
