Manager, Operations
About the role
Accountable for overall operations of a Nutrien Ag Solutions location, including warehousing, logistics, and inventory. You will plan, direct, and manage multi-shift distribution, oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance, and develop opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, technology leverage, and improved service within the distribution network.
You will lead and develop a high-performing team to meet goals with a cross-functional mindset, provide customer service for internal and external customers, and ensure a safe working environment by enforcing Company standards and conducting regular safety inspections.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage multi-shift distribution operations
- Oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance
- Develop and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and technology solutions
- Lead and develop a high-performing team with a cross-functional approach
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing Company safety standards and conducting regular inspections
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agriculture or a combination of supervisory, education, and work experience
- Agricultural-based degree desired
- Willingness to travel, including to market areas in other states
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
