Responsibilities
- Manages overall relationship with clients ensuring retention of the book of business and high satisfaction
- Marks renewals and new business
- Selects markets for solicitation
- Analyzes market proposals for verification of benefits, premiums, and competitiveness
- Aids the broker in the design and preparation of marketing and presentation materials
- Meets with clients for proposal delivery or open enrollment meetings and explanation as needed or directed by the broker
- Aids clients with changes, questions, and billing and claim issues
Requirements
- Employee Benefits account management experience and knowledge of standard lines of insurance
- Excellent oral & written English communication
- Professionalism
- Highly proficient in computer applications and Microsoft Office software, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and within a team with a strong sense of urgency to meet established goals
- Excellent organizational skills
