Responsibilities

  • Manages overall relationship with clients ensuring retention of the book of business and high satisfaction
  • Marks renewals and new business
  • Selects markets for solicitation
  • Analyzes market proposals for verification of benefits, premiums, and competitiveness
  • Aids the broker in the design and preparation of marketing and presentation materials
  • Meets with clients for proposal delivery or open enrollment meetings and explanation as needed or directed by the broker
  • Aids clients with changes, questions, and billing and claim issues

Requirements

  • Employee Benefits account management experience and knowledge of standard lines of insurance
  • Excellent oral & written English communication
  • Professionalism
  • Highly proficient in computer applications and Microsoft Office software, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and within a team with a strong sense of urgency to meet established goals
  • Excellent organizational skills
