Account Manager
Audacy’s Enterprise Team is seeking an Account Manager to quarterback the post-sale process and strategize pre-sale campaign planning. This role oversees the entire sales process from RFP to final wrap report, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
About the role
The Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for Audacy, leading large-scale campaigns and providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have strong client-facing skills, a deep understanding of marketing and integrated media channels, and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Quarterback internal strategy calls to provide top recommendations.
- Lead conversations with internal creative and execution teams to meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Provide “white glove” client service through clear communication and expectation-setting.
- Facilitate internal and external pre-sale/post-sale kickoff calls.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create detailed wrap reports, highlighting key metrics for client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Campaign Management team to ensure campaign delivery or optimization.
- Manage all post-sale correspondence with clients and creative stakeholders.
- Monitor and communicate recording timelines and manage expectations for closed campaigns.
- Present campaign performance reports, including delivery, optimizations, insights, and recommendations.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on your client, tracking potential risks.
- Work with planning on re-allocations while aligning with client interests.
- Communicate effectively with Podcast Partner Management to manage custom campaign facets and timelines.
- Vet and monitor the podcast vetting portal to ensure approvals for running in shows at the point of sale.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a media company, digital agency, or integrated media sales role, preferably client-facing.
- Basic understanding of digital advertising strategy and measurement.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Public speaking skills and ability to lead discussions.
- Ability to interpret data and position sellback metrics effectively.
- Experience leading communication with internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The anticipated starting salary range for California-based individuals is $75,000–$90,000 per year. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location, as well as internal and external equity.
Schedule
Hybrid work arrangement (3 to 4 days on-site in New York, NY; remaining days remote).
