A fast-growing, award-winning technology communications agency is seeking an Account Manager or Account Director to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative technology companies ranging from emerging startups to established industry leaders. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, strong media instincts, and experience building visibility for companies operating in competitive, rapidly evolving markets. The agency is particularly interested in candidates with experience across enterprise technology, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data, fintech, developer tools, infrastructure, and SaaS.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day client communications and account management
- Develop and execute strategic media relations and thought leadership programs
- Build relationships with key technology, business, and trade journalists
- Create messaging, media materials, executive content, and campaign strategies
- Identify proactive storytelling opportunities tied to industry trends and market developments
- Counsel clients on communications strategy and media engagement
- Manage and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to client growth and new business initiatives
Qualifications
- 4-10+ years of public relations or strategic communications experience
- Agency experience preferred
- Strong background in B2B technology communications
- Experience supporting enterprise software, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, fintech, or related technology sectors
- Excellent writing and media relations skills
- Strong client management and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
