Account Executive - Online Division

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Newburgh, NY territory. This is a unique community-based opportunity with a starting salary of $75,000 per year, with the potential for a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory to build awareness of our online academic programs.
• Shape high-impact partnerships for your territory through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums.
• Guide Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process, ensuring they have a successful online learning experience.
• Manage multiple tasks independently, prioritizing competing priorities while traveling.
• Communicate effectively in person, in writing, and on the phone, demonstrating strong listening skills.
• Coach a diverse range of Grand Canyon University students with unique circumstances, fostering empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and drive to succeed, taking ownership of your work and making a difference.
• Use computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to execute your work and stay accountable.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree required.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Clear communication skills, including well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and high emotional intelligence.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry-related professional experience is a plus.
• Experience working with CRM tools is a bonus.
