About the role

As Account Executive for the North America region you own the full sales cycle for Timefold’s deals — from qualified opportunity to signed contract. This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who can create pipeline, run complex sales processes, and close technical enterprise deals. You will work with software companies and technically mature organisations where scheduling and optimization are important to their product, operations, or customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full Sales cycle
  • Act as the primary commercial contact throughout the pre-sales process, orchestrating a smooth and coherent buyer experience.
  • Work closely together with our SDR, RevOps and Growth Marketeer to generate a target market and pipeline.
  • Identify, prioritize, and engage target accounts that fit Timefold’s ICP. Focus on software vendors/OEMs and technically capable enterprises with complex scheduling, routing, workforce-planning, or optimization needs.
  • Maintain a strong, well-structured pipeline with accurate forecasting and rigorous CRM hygiene.
  • Actively engage in outbound work towards all target accounts and create a strategy catered to our market and in line with our technology on how to approach this market.
  • Build multi-threaded account strategies across technical, operational, product, and executive stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the SDR to improve account selection, outreach, sequencing, and follow-up but take personal responsibility for creating pipeline.
  • Use open-source adoption, product usage, hiring signals, company strategy, and market triggers to identify accounts where Timefold may have a relevant commercial conversation.
  • Represent Timefold at relevant customer meetings, industry events, partner conversations, and communities when useful.
  • Drive high-impact, consultative enterprise deals from qualified lead to signed contract.
  • Own the full commercial process from first meaningful conversation through signed agreement.
  • Lead strong discovery conversations before proposing a solution.
  • Understand the customer’s planning problem, current approach, technical environment, decision process, commercial priorities, and implementation constraints.
  • Translate Timefold’s technical capabilities into business outcomes that matter to both engineering and operational stakeholders.
  • Work with Solutions Engineering on demos, technical workshops, security discussions, proof-of-concepts, and evaluation plans.
  • Build mutual action plans with customers and maintain momentum through technical validation, commercial discussion, procurement, legal, and contracting.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, close dates, next steps, qualification information, and forecasts in HubSpot.

Requirements

  • Start-up energy doesn't scare you — it motivates you.
  • You've built things before that didn't exist, and you'd rather own a function than inherit one.
  • 7+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, with a track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in technical markets.
  • Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, open-source, or data/AI products (not end-user Saas) to technical buyers such as CTOs, engineering leaders, architects, product leaders, data teams, or operations-research teams.
  • A track record of creating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Strong outbound and account-development ability. You know how to create relevance in accounts that are not actively shopping.
  • A discovery-first sales approach. You ask good questions, understand the problem, and do not default to product pitching.
  • Experience working with Solutions Engineering or technical pre-sales teams.
  • Strong commercial judgment around qualification, deal strategy, mutual action plans, forecasting, and procurement.
