About the role

The Account Executive drives sales performance and maximizes revenue across the indirect sales channel within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retailers, providing sales training, and ensuring optimal merchandising and inventory levels for T-Mobile prepaid brands. The position requires collaboration with internal and external partners to resolve issues and improve market outcomes.

The specific territories for these roles include:

  • NYC: South Queens (Jackson Heights, Jamaica, South Richmond Hill)
  • Los Angeles: Southwest Los Angeles (Huntington Park, Gardena, South Gate, Torrence)
  • Chicago: North Chicago

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and maximize revenue by engaging with retailers and implementing targeted sales initiatives within assigned territory.
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners to enhance brand visibility and customer activation for T-Mobile prepaid brands.
  • Provide sales training and support to store personnel to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure optimal merchandising and inventory levels by monitoring store displays and coordinating with retail partners.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and improve market outcomes.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports to track performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to challenges in the retail environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required). Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Preferred). Associate's Degree in Business, Sales, or related field (Preferred).
  • 2-4 years of sales experience in an acquisition capacity, including building and managing relationships with retailers or channel partners (Required).
  • 2-4 years of experience implementing sales training and merchandising initiatives to drive product visibility and customer activation in a retail environment (Required).
  • 2-4 years of experience collaborating with internal and external partners to resolve issues, optimize inventory levels, and improve market outcomes (Required).
  • Valid Driver's License (Required for travel within assigned territory).
  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Skills

  • Ability to drive sales performance and maximize revenue across indirect sales channels, including retail environments (Required).
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and store personnel (Required).
  • Ability to provide effective sales training to retail partners (Required).
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges related to sales, inventory, and merchandising (Required).
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external partners (Required).
  • Knowledge of wireless/mobile technologies and prepaid brands relevant to T-Mobile's retail environment (Required).
  • Customer service skills to deliver excellent support to retail partners (Required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales tracking, inventory management, and data analysis (Required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification.
  • Retail Management Certification.

Pay

Base pay range: $62,500 - $112,700. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most corporate employees are eligible for an annual bonus or sales incentive, typically set at 15% of eligible earnings from the prior year.
