The Account Executive, Mid-Market role is focused on driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of mid-market prospects. You will own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and relationship building to negotiation and contract closure.
Accountabilities
- Generate qualified opportunities, manage sales processes, and close new business within an assigned territory.
- Proactively engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, online research, and professional relationships.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations while clearly communicating value propositions and expected business outcomes.
- Manage complex sales cycles, including discovery, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects, progressing opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle from initial outreach to close.
- Develop strong relationships with customer stakeholders and understand their business needs, priorities, and challenges.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and customer activity records within CRM systems.
- Collaborate with sales development, marketing, customer success, implementation, and partner teams to ensure successful customer transitions.
- Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and sales best practices to support team performance.
- Continuously improve sales strategies by analyzing opportunities, customer feedback, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Experienced sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business, manage complex sales processes, and exceed revenue goals.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- 3-5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in technology or SaaS solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving new business development.
- Experience managing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing.
- Strong experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and building relationships with new accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to understand customer challenges and translate solutions into measurable business value.
- Experience managing opportunities through CRM platforms and maintaining accurate sales forecasts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or knowledge of the faith-based sector or related communities is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with productivity tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

- Competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $60,000-$80,000 plus variable compensation, resulting in an estimated OTE range of $131,500-$160,000.
