About the role

BECK Media & Marketing is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Client Services team — someone who wants real reps on real accounts from day one. We're a multifaceted agency built at the intersection of entertainment and technology — from streaming platforms and CPG brands to venture‑backed startups — and we've stayed independent for 25+ years because we believe in senior‑level attention over org‑chart bloat. You'll work directly with experienced strategists, not a template. Our size means real access — you'll work directly with senior staff and real client strategy, and you won’t be invisible on a big‑agency bench. We measure ourselves by outcomes, not activity — and we'll teach you to think that way too. We invest in tenure. People stay here, and we'd like you to be one of them.

Location: Remote, Tri‑State area preferred (frequent co‑working and in‑person client commitments). Availability: Immediate. Salary: $42,000–$50,000. Application deadline: Open until filled.

Responsibilities

  • Media Relations & Research: Build media lists and identify consumer, business, and tech press targets across projects; write strong first drafts — pitches, press releases, submissions, executive bios; develop relationships with media and influencers; spot and flag pitching opportunities.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report editorial and social coverage across multiple clients; read trade and consumer press daily and stay ahead of platform and industry shifts; maintain a running database of speaking, editorial, and award opportunities.
  • Client & Account Support: Support multiple tech, entertainment, and brand accounts — from list‑building to full campaign execution; handle scheduling, travel, event logistics, and budget tracking as needed; attend client meetings, interviews, conferences, and events (virtual and IRL).

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of PR or communications experience (agency or in‑house, internships count).
  • A real interest in where entertainment, pop culture, and tech collide.
  • Sharp writing, sharper follow‑through — you take ownership and hit deadlines without being chased.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving, multi‑project environment.
  • Curious, coachable, and not precious about feedback.

Benefits

We believe great people deserve great support. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well‑being, and career growth, including:

  • Competitive compensation
  • 401(k) with profit sharing
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Remote‑first flexibility
  • Paid time off, sick leave,
