Position Details
Mercy Ministry Office - Account Coordinator
FT Days, Onsite
Education: Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major emphasis in accounting or business. Or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience: Prefer experience with data entry, spreadsheet applications, databases, accounts payable systems and general ledger.
Job Duties
- Assists in preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepares accurate and timely journal entries, including complete descriptions and supporting documentation, as appropriate.
- Responds to financial statement review questions to ensure identification and resolution of unusual fluctuations.
- Performs data entry and uploading of journal entries as necessary.
- Prepares miscellaneous invoices.
- Prepares monthly invoices for physician practices and/or other parties for leased employees and other various services/supplies provided.
- Responds to questions regarding invoices sent, investigate and resolve any billing issues on a timely basis.
- Report distribution and filing.
- Distribute various monthly financial reports on a timely basis.
- Bind and file monthly journal entries and reports in an orderly fashion.
