This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position based in the office five days per week, reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

About the Company

AA Duckett is a part of the Elliott-Lewis family of companies. Since 1905, Elliott-Lewis and its subsidiaries, including AA Duckett, have held a reputation as a premier provider of Mechanical Services, Facilities Management, and Crane Rentals. This role will specifically support the Mechanical Services line of business, which includes installation of commercial HVAC units; proactive maintenance of HVAC, boilers, and chillers; service repairs to HVAC, boilers, and chillers; and mechanical construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers and continually update customers on status of accounts.
  • Support clients and field technicians by quoting follow-up work to aid in the operations of equipment repairs.
  • Procure materials for technicians.
  • Communicate with service coordinators regarding daily account activity.
  • Maintain customer database by updating daily status of workflow.
  • Run weekly status reports to report service goal metrics.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in client services.
  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple assignments.
  • Reporting and analysis skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Training will be provided on Microsoft Great Plains (also known as GP or Key2Act) and Microsoft SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC/R industry experience (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Great Plains (also known as GP or Key2Act) (highly desired but not required).

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly requires a high degree of mental effort, ability to talk and hear, and gross and fine manipulation.
  • Requires reading both print and screens for extended periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently required to walk and sit.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift up to 25 lbs., stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs.
  • Expected to work in a moderately loud environment.
