About the role
The Account Consultant I provides day-to-day account management and cultivates relationships with an assigned group of fleet management clients, striving to continuously exceed customer expectations and deliver on time orders.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming orders to ensure all information has been collected; expedite urgent orders and track through completion; follow up with internal departments on details related to order processing and initiate problem resolution as needed.
- Contact dealerships regarding vehicle availability for up-fitting, decal installs, and key programming; release vehicles for pickup and delivery of orders to meet client needs; respond to customer questions and requests via email and phone in a timely manner.
- Generate ongoing client metrics reports and distribute according to schedule; update customer and client data and verify accuracy of information when working in customer files; maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Audit invoices for accuracy and completion; oversee title and registration processing; administer accounts receivable to help keep client accounts in good standing; represent ACERTUS professionally and take personal responsibility to manage change.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- One to three years of experience in customer service, customer contact, or account coordination in an office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel, and other general office equipment.
- Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively organize, prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to proactively research and resolve routine problems; understanding basic accounting related to billing and invoices; knowledge of title and registration, project management, transportation, and logistics is helpful.
