About the role

Denali Park Village is a highly rated resort located just outside Denali National Park & Preserve, nestled on the banks of the Nenana River, minutes from the park entrance. Open May to September, the resort offers comfortable rooms, excellent dining, and live entertainment. The surrounding 6.2 million acres of Denali National Park & Preserve—home to Mount Denali, the highest point in North America—welcome over half a million visitors annually. The area is accessible by road, 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks, with buses traversing the 90-mile park road daily during summer.

The Accommodations Coordinator II provides high-level support to internal and external customers, serving as the first point of contact for less experienced team members with questions or complex guest issues. This role allows supervisors to focus on performance management by handling day-to-day troubleshooting and may include acting as an interim supervisor during peak seasonal staffing. The position also provides overflow multi-channel support (phone, live chat, email, and fax) during high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

  • Assist less seasoned team members with general questions or escalate complex guest issues to a supervisor on duty.
  • Serve as a product expert on Aramark’s properties, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with classroom facilitation during new hire training as needed.
  • Communicate property, system, policy, and procedure updates to the sales floor.
  • Act as the main point of contact for property field leaders to ensure guest needs are met; apply sound judgment to resolve high-priority situations.
  • Collaborate with Training, IT, Rates & Inventory, and Sales & Marketing to resolve issues.
  • Provide feedback and communicate needs that impact sales efficiency and guest experience.
  • Handle off-phone tasks, including Service Recovery, cancel/fax paperwork, booking errors, and property voicemails.
  • Provide overflow multi-channel support (inbound phone, live chat, email, and fax) during peak contact volume.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Extensive experience using reservation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, complaint resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail; ability to respond to customer inquiries carefully and completely.
  • Self-motivated with initiative to take ownership of issues and complete assignments with minimal direction.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced, driven culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact in a patient, courteous, clear, and comprehensive manner.
  • Outstanding keyboarding/typing and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated dependability and strong attendance habits.
