Accommodations Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for students requesting accommodations.
- Review medical and psychological documentation to determine eligibility.
- Audit, coordinate, and monitor accommodation plans.
- Provide exam accommodations, including proctoring, scribing, or reading.
- Assist with accessible technology and accessible media needs.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
- Work with faculty and staff to address accommodation needs and support classroom implementation.
- Provide case management and collaborate on process improvements.
- Serve as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related or transferable discipline.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
- Ability to interpret documentation, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy.
